Voice chat

Grok includes a proximity voice chat feature. By joining voice chat, you understand and agree to the following:

• Your voice is transmitted live to every other player within range for as long as you are connected and not muted. You should expect to be heard at any time you are unmuted in voice chat.
• Other players and staff are able to hear, record, stream, or publish your voice chat audio. We do not control what other players do with audio they receive, and we cannot prevent them from recording or sharing it.
• Staff may access voice chat connection logs (who connected/disconnected and when) and may mute or ban a player's voice access for moderation purposes.
• If you do not want to be heard, mute yourself or stay disconnected from voice chat - both remain fully optional.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Steam, we store your SteamID, persona name, avatar, and profile URL. If you link Discord, we store your Discord ID, username, and avatar. We also store gameplay-derived data tied to your account - dinosaur vault entries, inventory, currency balances, friends, and in-game position while playing on the server - to power the features of this site.

How we use it

This data is used solely to operate the site and the server community: displaying your profile and vault, running the live map and friends features, awarding coins and loot, connecting you to voice chat, and enforcing moderation actions (mutes, bans). We do not sell your data.
